While the end result was fine and the prior consultation was mostly good as well, not telling me for my first UID insertion, that there is an anesthesia option.
Second option:
As a child I needed to get blood checked and I can still remember how they used these giant pins instead of the mechanical spring things to get blooddrops from my finger. I needed to get blood checked every hour for a few hours. I may exaggerate the last situation in my memory but it was so horrible I still remember it. In addition there was an older guy who told me and I quote my parrents here who told me about the situation: 'You have it easy. Girls can cry. If you were a boy you would need to be strong and wouldn't be allowed to cry. You could be as strong as boys and be quite'.
The fast that my parents found the situation super weird, horrible and worth to remember is a fact in on itself.

Not a problem with the dentist itself, but the people who’s secretly behind the dentist, giving him orders from a distance.. May the real evil ones fall from a mountain and crack their sculls open, all teeth shattered on the ground as these manbabies call for mommy, to cradle their cracked scull.🥺

(First visit) Oral surgeon couldn't hit my trigeminal nerve branch to knock out my tooth before a root canal. So he made about a dozen proximal injections all around the tooth. and then did some work. (Next visit). Same problem. Was going to do proximal again when he asked another doc to take a try at hitting the nerve. This was the first time the second doc even saw me, didn't even (need to) read the x-ray, hit the nerve on the first injection! Will never go to the first doc again (he is the son of the owner, but I;m sure that doesn't;t have any thing to do with it. )

Can’t say that I’ve had one. Don’t mind appointments. Might have something to do with the nurses, hygienists, and sometimes the doctors 😉😂

Does physiotherapist count?

I had a rotator cuff injury from a TDap vaccine being placed too high on the arm and into the shoulder joint. I had to have scans done and had to have surgery and therapy. That was 3 years ago.

I moved countries and went for an evaluation for my range of motion. I met the physiotherapist, told her the whole chain of events and why I was there. She was dismissive of everything I said and straight up told me vaccines don't cause damage like that at least 3 times through the whole appointment. Incredibly condescending.

Never saw her again.

My recently retired dentist used to ask me embarrassing questions (unrelated to teeth) in front of his beautiful, young assistant. After every visit I would think about finding a new dentist but 6 to 9 months later I would decide that it wasn't worth the trouble so I'd go back.

I'm overdue for a checkup but haven't decided whether to give the new dentist, old office, another chance. The last time I was there, even the hot assistant was asking me personal, embarrassing questions unrelated to teeth.

Every time I told them my knees hurt, the excuses to not treat me ranged from "growing pains" as a teen, when the pain started, to "lose weight and your knees will stop hurting" - ignoring that I told them when the pain started, when I was 16 and 137 lbs of solid muscle.

Most of the time doctors seem to only see weight as the cause, not a symptom of another problem...

Found a good doctor last year, turns out I had a slight tear in one knee, and was over straining the other knee. One cortisone shot, and lots of running up stairs later, and my knees are better, and now I'm focusing on losing weight...

I kinda don't like doctors now as a result...

I was seeing a urologist my PCP recommended. I needed frequent antibiotic prescriptions. It was always foe the same chronic condition but they required a urine sample anyway. One say I brought the sample but was told the guy from the lab already came. I wanted to leave the sample but was told I could not. I asked if they were going to make m e come back and they said yes. So the next day I come back with the sample and was told that they could not submit a sample without a doctor's order. I asked to talk to the doc but was told he was busy. I tossed the sample in the wastebasket and walked out. I found a new urologist who has been great. I think a lot of doctors offices still use covid as an excuse to give bad service

I needed a dermatology consult about a wound that wouldn’t heal. There is a dermatologist one block office. I can walk there. Called and asked to be scheduled for the first appointment after lunch so they would not already be backlogged. I arrived on time. Very fancy waiting room. I waited for an hour and still had not been called so I walked out.

With any appointments involving pain and the docs dismiss my warning about anesthesia taking a while to work on me and it wearing off on me quicker than on most people. I've woken up in the middle of a few procedures... The worst was during oral surgery.

All my dentist appointments I hated since I was a kid... the dentist never said shit to me it was always the bitch oral hygienists who are rude to me..
My orthodontist and his team were the best I had to deal with.. I guess because my dad paid them enough LOL

Didn't know what was wrong with me and so I tried to explained to him in the best way I could. He just laughed, made a mockery of me and told me to be careful I don't end up in a mental institution. Of course I never went back because not only did it hurt because he made feel a fool to validate my concerns but because I deemed it a lack of professionalism. He's the best in his field but that one interaction turned me off. Needless to say, I never went back

When I was a kid I went to the
Doctor because I would get bloody noses frequently. He wouldn't listen to anything I had to say and just told me it was because I pick my nose too much, even though I didn't pick my nose. I found out later I have thinner capillaries in my nose and a deviated septum which causes uneven pressure in my nose which in turn would burst a blood vessel.

I had a dentist once try to charge me 2k for just a cleaning so I walked out without getting anything done.

Root canal, it had to be redone, then after the second root canal it got infected and I had to go to an oral surgeon to remove part of my gum. My upper lip was swollen for like two weeks were it was triple the size as normal. And of course this was when I was in middle school.

With one PCP, the nurse brought me in on time for my physical and took height, weight, and blood pressure. When she left the room, she told me to change into the exam gown and the doctor would be right in. The doctor didn't come for another 30 minutes which was a long time to be sitting on an exam table with only a paper gown on.

I was about five and I felt like my doctor was touching me inappropriately but maybe that was just his job to touch me to feel for things but I still remember to this day how uncomfortable it made me feel.

Ortho Asst. was sealing my teeth and tongue depressor got caught in the back of my throat and started gagging in my chair convulsing with instruments in my mouth. Teeth turned out great.
