Here are some tips that work for me:

• Increase fiber, healthy fat, & lean protein consumption
- Slower to digest, has a greater thermic effect, & helps promote satiety signals more

• Eat in intelligent ways for the energy you need
- Aka don't eat a huge surplus of simple carbs unless you plan on feeling tired & lazy

• Be more active
- To speed up metabolism & increase energy demands

• Make what you like to eat fit into your daily or weekly caloric intake
- You can have sugar & other cheat meals if you structure everything right and aren't eating in too much of a consistent surplus relative to what your body burns in a day.

• Don't go under or over 500 calories a day relative to whatever your maintenance intake is
- The likelihood of rebounding & disrupting metabolism is high & not worth it. Better to go slow & steady

Cut out sodium and sugar. Skip breakfast. Drink a gallon of water a day. Have healthy snacks And work on meal replacement. If you find two healthy meals you can cut out most the junk and start moving in the right direction. Apart from that regular stretching and exercise will help on top of that and don’t be discouraged there is a lot you can you do at home if you aren’t able to go to a gym. you also don’t have to be intense on every workout. I know it can be discouraging to feel sore for a week straight. Just focus on getting the blood flowing and your heart rate up. You might dread it at first but you will feel great after and if you don’t go too hard it will help encourage you to do it regularly. Good luck!

Be Firstly on a Daily Vitamin and Drink a Lot of Water. Eat some Kind of a Light Breakfast and Salad for Lunch. Small Dinner and Dessert Once a week. Exercise. xxoo

DON'T EAT LESS! Just eat CLEAN. So drop sugary drinks (soda OR juices) and just drink WATER. In terms of eating clean, first drop junk food, then make sure you're eating PLENTY of protein (meat is good!) and veggies. Don't worry about calorie counting--this is a COMPLETE waste of time at 16--just focus on clean--high protein, high vegetable content, good fats (nuts, meat, etc.) and minimal seed oils and processed foods.

Next up, work out. But DON'T OVERDO THE CARDIO! You should DO some cardio (running, swimming, rowing--whatever you like to do), but you need to STRENGTH train. Lifting will strengthen and tone your muscles and more muscle mass will help your body efficiently burn fat.

BE CONSISTENT! You're not going to get it 100% right every day. That's not a problem. Just stay after it each day and keep adjusting to get better.

here is the simplest solution.
Eat less move more.
You want to eat more healthy foods, high protein foods, non starchy veggies, less carbs, sugar etc, drink more water, 64oz a day, and do at least 30 min a day of exercise, walking bicycling etc a day. Keep a journal of what you ate, and water it makes you more accountable of what/how you are doing.
Remember, there are 21 meals in a week, so if you have a bad 1 or 3, you still had 17 or so good ones.

Stop drinking sodas - drink water. Eat salads, portion your meals, eat carrot sticks for snacks. And eat dark chocolate. Exercise as well. How do I know?

I was self conscious for most of my youth, especially about my face. Things like body dysmorphia weren’t so well known then. I had to learn to accept myself. If I were you, I’d eat a balanced diet and take half an hours exercise 3 times a week where you get out of breath. If you feel like an unhealthy meal, eat it because you can if you eat a balanced diet often. The only person judging you is yourself. It took me a long time to realise everyone is more concerned with their own problems than how you look. Take care of your body and it will take care of you.
