My wife's cousin's mother in law had died. She was 110. I last saw her when she turned 100.
By birth year, or by the age of which I knew them?
By birth year, it's probably my late great-grandmother,. She was born in 1918.
Now, if you're talking about the oldest person I've ever known via age of which I knew them, it's probably this man I met in the Summer of 2021, when I was driving for Uber one day. He was a World War II Veteran, and he told me he was 97 years old.
Come to think of it, it's odd that I've still never met anyone who is at least 100 years old (at least that I know of), but I've known a lot of people who were/are in their 90s.

I knew someone who was 102. I met hime when he was 88, and I got to know him and I talked to him regularly at the park I frequented. His name was Gene and he had a zest for life, even at that age, and his laugh was infectious. You couldn't help but smile whenever you heard it. The next oldest person is my grandmother who just turned 100 a couple of months ago. 🙂
A 108 year old woman where I worked. You really had to yell to talk to her because she hated wearing her hearing aids. But she was walking, talking, and read the newspaper everyday.
My grandma was 98 when she passed away this year...

... apparently most of the women in my family live for ages, I'm not looking forward to that. Although, I guess by then I can just get a shot of CRISPR (genome editing) or some other rejuvenation tech and look and feel way younger.
If we are already close to curing aging now when I'm 28, but the time I'm in my 90s I'll just need to make sure I have the money for it and I'm good!
My 1st grade Teacher, Mrs. Turner lived to age 102, and she drove a car in her 90s with no problem I would run into her down at the local Foodland store, and she recognized me and I swear that woman was age 92 at the time but had the mind of a 70-year-old woman, she would talk very aware of everything around her just so amazing.

I knew a lady who was almost 101 when she died. She was as sharp as a tack to the end. I loved hearing her stories from when she was young.
