No, and thankfully I don’t have to deal with customers other than answering the phone to take orders.
It can still be problems by just taking peoples orders.
Not as much. If people mess me around on the phone, or they start being rude, I just hang up.
They can still call and complain on you like someone that is higher up.
I’ve been instructed by my manager and CEO of the company to just hang up if people are rude. If they continuously call back to continue being rude or waste my time, then the phone gets passed to my manager. I don’t care if someone makes a complaint about me.
In hindsight, fast food is one of those jobs to either look back on and laugh 😂 knowing all that stress is long gone, or that it's something to look back on and not think about again lol 🤣
Working kitchen, I didn't, maybe was slightly, slightly easier as there was no, interactions with the public, but the time pressures still there plus heat, surely. Air conditioning my friend lol 😅
*I didn't work kitchen, I mean ; * for those working kitchen, which I didn't, maybe was slightly easier continued continued
After 5 years, even less than that, but after 5 years I was so exhausted lol 😆 and that's not even being a waiter at a fine 5 stars restaurant lol 😆
I obviously did well enough to keep my job for 5 years yet I struggled, at times, with the perfectionism and procedures aspects. I mean it's a constant needing octopus arms and multiple eyes. Multi tasking clearly I was in the wrong job. The short answer; you handle the customers as kindly as you can until you find a better job 😁👀
Depends. Some places have better customer service than others. Like Popeye's? It's deplorable. I really don't know how the people there find there way to work each day.
