Does drinking ginger tea everyday can cause kidney failure?

I was told that drinking ginger tea can cause kidney failure. I always drink it as part of my healthy lifestyle even though Im not sick I just drink it for its benefits so Im contradicted if would still continue to drink it?

You know, I've heard some mixed things about ginger tea and kidney issues. From what I've looked up though, it seems like for most healthy people in normal amounts, it's probably fine.

Some key things:

- Ginger can act as a diuretic, meaning it makes you pee more. Lots of extra peeing over long periods could stress the kidneys a tiny bit. But your kidneys are meant to handle way more than a cup of tea.

- For people with pre-existing kidney problems, ginger might not be a good idea since it adds more workload to filtering waste. But if your kidneys are healthy, they can handle it.

- The key is probably moderation - maybe don't drink like 5 cups a day constantly. A cup here and there is probably no big deal. Everything in moderation, ya know?

Unless you're pounding down gallons of the stuff, I don't see how it could- but then, I'm not a physician, just a random guy online. Talk to a doctor if you're worried.

You need to drink 4 to 5 cups of ginger tea daily to get the maximum benefits from it. I doubt you could drink enough ginger tea daily to have any adverse effects.
