Maine to become safe haven for transgenders?

Just saw that Maine is looking to become a safe haven for transgender people! Providing surgeries for whomever wants them.
What is your opinion on this?

My question is…. When down the road these transgender people regretting what they did to their bodies. What does society do with them? What will the cost to society be?

Maine lawmakers are working on legislation to take over custody of minors that come into their state. I thought they were mostly safe everywhere.
I don't think there WILL be a cost to society. The bulk of them got SRS because they really wanted it! It's just the recent flocks of them that are doing it on a whim or because their mind-fucked, loony lefty parents TOLD THEM to that are going to be the ones that will regret it! My ex-fiance's ex-hubby was one. He got SRS because he thought he wanted it and, not long after, changed his mind. Eventually, he used his own money to have his tits removed (but, from what I could tell, it wasn't needed! In the first place, I doubt they were bigger than small B cups! I knew him for most of his last 15 years and I never noticed he HAD tits!! Secondly, my cousin ended up with massive FF's because of some cancer meds he was on and, even though he hardly tried to hide them, he still got no grief from anyone about them! He was still pickling up chicks left & right! For that matter, so was Brian Zembic after he got implants on a bet. He's had them for at least 30 years and still gets puss!).
There's already quite a few recent ones that regret having any of it done! Guys that can't fuck girls anymore because they don't have nuts, anymore, girls that can't breast feed because they had them cut off.
In the past 30-some years, I've met at least 2 dozen M-F trans women and one F-M trans man and, except for Jim, not a single one regrets what they did! Mostly, because they did it THE RIGHT WAY! NOT, just because they felt like it one day!

I really don't even want to hear about what they are doing. We have not always had transgender people in America 🇺🇸. Just a few years ago they popped up. They have a mental condition. They don't have real, physical genger dysphoria. The sex want to change the sex they were born with.
Anyway, this all too strange! I wonder if these people work? If they try to take over lobster trapping, I'm sure they won't even given a chance. 🦞🦐

This is why we have our system of federalism. Each state is free, within bounds, to do as it wishes, even if its actions seem to be crazy to the rest of us.

RESPONSE TO UPDATE: However, if Maine attempts to interfere with a parent's custodial rights, they will run afoul of the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Enforcement Act, and will likely be sued in federal court. And Maine will lose.

With all of the woke people around and the blue state schools teaching kids not to tell their parents. I would almost believe anything until someone finds some common sense!
