For me it had a burning sensation just so weird im worried something could be wrong. I couldn’t get it through it worries me I’m worried could be something blocking the entrance, but my periods are regular every month and I have no trouble with the flow I’m glad about that I do have an entrance of some sort. What could this be?

What Girls Said
I’ve only had trouble when inserting a tampon straight after pulling the used one out, as the area is dry and if there’s no blood or lubrication, the tampon doesn’t go in right. Other than that, I’ve never had trouble putting them in, and I’ve never felt a burning sensation from them. Are you sure that you’re not allergic to the material that most tampons are made of?
I have no idea and I’m thinking maybe my periods flow wasn’t heavy enough it I’m guessing that what it was too I’m thinking maybe something with my hymen too I don't know
Are you not able to use sanitary pads instead of tampons? They’re better for you, and won’t cause pain like you’re experiencing with tampons.
I use pads they’re fine
Burning sensation sounds concerning. I’d recommend going to a OBGYN for further professional assessment/examination and potential allergic reactions.
I think because never really inserting anything prior that so going to be tight fit I guess is normal
I believe it is still safe and cautious to connect with a OBGYN to just be sure. I don’t recall anyone experiencing that same symptoms.
Yeah but kinda scared to go there
I don’t want any surgeries
I’m sorry, I know it’s always scary to find out, but it’s more safe to find out sooner before it gets worse. I would recommend not using it for the time being due to burning sensation. I think we get anxious, but it doesn’t always result to having surgeries or maybe it may just be a biopsy which is a smaller type.
Maybe have a friend or family member you trust to go with you, so you won’t have to go through it alone. I wish I’ve done that when I was going to OBGYN for my own lady concerns.
I know. It just sucks because everyone else is normal and I have to deal with this very depressing to be honest I just stick with pads for now my periods are only 4 days long so mine is gone in no time which is good. I don't know what it could be might be a type of hymen because I get my period my entrance isn’t completely closed off which is good I get my periods normal every month it’s regular no issues so I’m glad about that I function fine but I guess I won’t worry about it if I’m functioning fine
I would really panic if I didn’t get my period at all
I still think it’s good to get a check up such as Pap smear and what you experience recently to see if anything has change in your lady area. I’d say prioritize this because if anything is abnormal… it’s better to get that treated before it lingers. But whenever you are ready and bring someone with you. Don’t panic bc it may not be anything but just an allergic reaction to the texture and such too. But you won’t know until you’re seen.
And tbh every women goes through their own women health concerns, but it varies. Don’t feel like you’re alone :)
I know I feel alone though. Would if I don’t get it checked I don’t think I’d die or anything. Yeah true could be allergic reaction or anxiety like tensing up since I’m not relaxed
It could be me just a mindset thing too
I know, I’m sorry you feel that way.. i know it’s not a great feeling.. but just know a lot of women goes through their own women health problems or concerns they don’t always talk about it. I never even told anyone mines either except my ex and one friend. It’s good to check esp when you’re so young, most people wait for a long time and symptoms can get worse. You can do it whenever you’re ready, but I don’t recommend prolonging it.
You’re right and I do think it’s normal for being tight tho too it’s like a foreign object going somewhere that’s never been there. So I think it’s nerves & fear too. It burned and was tendering up bc of being scared about it like nerves. I don't know for sure. I don't know if it’s an allergic reaction tho. I don’t have pain when I don’t use them. So I never use them I’m find I tried once that was it.
It’s out of our scope to self-diagnose, it’s better to talk to a professional about what you’ve noticed and how it made you felt.
Yeah true at least if I’m aware what’s going on then it will be better to bring to their attention either I’m wrong or right they’ll tell me either way
