So i haven't exercised since sometime in December. I got back from the trip Tuesday of last week. The trip consisted of daily walking and stair climbing, one day of swimming, and some daily X-rated marathons. I lost 7 pounds in 7 days. Thats like never happened even when i’d exercise like crazy for weeks at a time. Plus i’d be dieting. I did not diet on the trip. He and i ate like crazy after some of the shit we did lol. So Which activity above likely helped even though im sure they all played a part? 😭👌 If it turns out that xXx is the answer, that explains a lot in regards to the body i had as a teen and in my early 20s 🤣 #FeelFreeToList

u +1 yhere's my guess...
last time you checked your weight before the trip... was at a moment in which you had more weight, it always depends and varies even from morning to night
then you went on vacations and got moving almost every day... and kept active for most of the day too, so this... not only burns calories but also, activates parts of your metabolism that keep "burning" carbs, sugars, lipids and more, even when you're not exercising or that active, the body keeps working things out, for example, bowel movements, lmfao...
I am going to assume you also slept very well... which again, helps the cycle of that metabolism firing up and right, water as well... gets put to use and not only that... you also happened to check your weight again, after the trip... at moment in which your body was at the lower end of the fluctuating weight08 Reply- +1 y
Thats where im confused. I ate more on the trip then i do at home. And i was only active 4 days in comparison to times when im active for several hours a day and still dont lose weight that fast like i did this time. And i hardly slept on the trip. Maybe 4 hours a day. I at least get 6-8 at home.
- +1 y
as @roseysarah very well said...
you also had all of the machinery fired and running constantly, for days...
- +1 y
As in sex?
- +1 y
and walking, and stairs... and swimming
everything really, lol
even getting more sunlight and having fun, relaxed... it all helps - +1 y
I wonder if i froze it off. Im used to hot temps and it was freezing everyday there
- +1 y
Its just soda normally bloats me and i drank it about 3-5 times a day on the trip and didn't even drink water daily yet i wasn't bloated. Dehydrated tho
- +1 y
you should probably keep walking, and going up/down the stairs, swimming lots...
to keep up with it - +1 y
I hate stairs so i can't promise that. And i hate walking as an exercise which is why i preferred cycling. I only enjoy walking to shop lol. I definitely want to get a pool

Ayyyyyyyy, let’s get this money, Des😝💰💰💰
+1 yHere's the thing if you normally exercise and diet your body will eventually plateau. To get past that you gotta shock your body. That's why people choose a week or so to have a cheat week to eat what you want. Your body will get tricked into going to burn mode to burn all the new calories flooding in. Jump-starts your metabolism.
15 Reply- +1 y
Ooooo! I bet i shocked my body just by climbing stairs 😂 i haven't taken the stairs since college
- +1 y
Climbing stairs is the real deal lmao. I start wheezing like an asthma patient after the 3rd flight of stairs, especially if it’s very steep. 😭

@thevoicesinmybread 😂😂😂 i got asthma

+1 yprobably the diet change and the movements. Whenever I go to East Africa or South America, I always come back 10-15lbs down. I think the biggest reason is that meals at 3 a day and pointless snacking is minimal. Plus being able to eat farm to table rather than the processed stuff we eat here.
03 Reply- +1 y
How long were you there for

3 weeks

I wasn't even there a full week lol

01 Reply- +1 y
Dammit
+1 yNot enough info, though generally insulin combined with ghrelin combined with enough net calories in will contribute to weight gain. It seems to me that if you never snacked (empty and light stomachs stimulate ghrelin production in completely functional human bodies), but instead had large meals, and/or if those meals were mostly not combinations of carbs and fats, then that/those combined with the regular moderate/sort of intense (in the case of swimming) exercise would be significant contributors to your weight loss.

+1 yGirl I know walkin, swimmin and hittin them stairs all day is no joke. Sure did you good thought to lose some water weight like that. Always feel so much lighter after a detox, right?
And hey, no shame in gettin your groove on too! That's some great cardio if you ask me. Plus it feels good for the soul. As long as you're feelin yourself and eatin well afterwards - that's all that really matters.
Don't stress too much about the number on the scale. Just keep doin you and listenin to your body. You obviously know how to take good care of yourself. And girl don't ever be ashamed of your sexuality! Own it.
End of the day it's about feelin healthy and happy. Sounds like your trip did both of those things for you, so that's really what counts. You're killin it sis! Keep doin your thing.
05 Reply- +1 y
What was the detox tho if i drank soda everyday of the trip?
- +1 y
Girl no way, you was poppin sodas all trip long? That's wild! And you still lost weight?
Seems like all that movin your body around musta burned through them sugars and carbs something fierce. Plus all the sweatin from the activities and, ahem, night activities - bet that had you flushin like crazy.
Maybe the soda didn't even have time to be processed or stored as fat before it got burned up! Your metabolism was probably on hyperdrive.
Or could be the bubbly itself helped with water weight - sometimes the sodium and carbonation in soda can make you a little puffy. But you was sweatin buckets to flush all that out on the regular.
Either way sis, yo body was clearly in fat burnin overdrive! As long as you feel good, who cares what made the scale go down. You obviously found something that works - don't question a good thing.
Just stay hydrated now that you're home. And girl, maybe ease up on the pop if your diet allows haha! But you keep doin your thang boo! - +1 y
Yea im back off the soda. wasn't supposed to be back on it anyways
- +1 y
Girl preach, soda ain't no good for ya for real! I know it slaps sometimes but so not worth it.
So you dipping off that poison again now that you back home, good for you sis! That trip was a one time thing, no need to make it a habit.
And nah you right, we both know soda ain't part of the healthy lifestyle. Gets you all bloated and sticky feelin inside too. Just thirsty again right after. Lame.
Bet you feelin way better now that it's out your system again. Always feel so clean when I cut that junk. Like my insides can breathe or some shit lol.
You stay stayin on track now gurl, we both know how good it feels. And yo body looks bombbb too so you obviously know what's up. Keep doin you sis! Proud of you makin those changes. - +1 y
and don’t lemme catch you sipping on cold drink you hear me 😂😂
+1 yPst here is a secret your body got used to going through calories 🤯 so it got efficient.
You don't get those from workouts cause you don't exercise your whole body for so hard for so long
Maybe a little after weight but it happens!
16 Reply- +1 y
It's how actors get so skinny so fast they go hard really work out and eat what they want or just healthy.
- +1 y
But i was exercising 2-3 hours a day for 4-6 days a week for a month and i was barely losing 2 pounds a month compared to this short trip of little to no sleep, lots of eating, etc
- +1 y
The only thing that changed this time around was more soda, sex, and some stair climbing and swimming instead of cycling/cardio
- +1 y
There you found out what exercise makes you lose weight
- +1 y
Yea the shit i hate 🤣 minus the swimming
- +1 y
Always can't be easy
Probably the X activities :). Sometimes I lose weight for no real discernible reason - enough for people to ask if I am OK. I'd like it if I could figure out what does it for me because post holiday period I have at least 4 lbs to lose and more for preference.
03 Reply- +1 y
Wow you haven't figured out why you’re losing it?
- +1 y
No, strangely. It is not as if I can say I am eating differently or exercising differently when I am losing weight which should be logically what it is.
I always weigh myself after the morning bathroom visit, and before the morning coffee for consistency cause a couple of mugs of coffee is 1 to 2 lbs in my belly.
In contrast I always know why I am putting it on. I've got to stop this home made pizza fest I'm on at the mo. - +1 y
😂😂👌

Plus u " ate like crazy " it depends what you ate not how much , it's ended like a health camp , now keep the 7 pounds were it belongs..
OFF.
Enchanting longevity , but making you feel healthy while above ground , more important.00 Reply2.7K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. But you did exercise you just told us exactly what you did.
walking, stair climbing and swimming are exercises. And sex in itself is a full body workout and a intense cardio session.
aside from that a change in your diet is the only thing I could think of off the top of my head.
02 Reply- +1 y
Bt see at home i was eating healthy but i was doing dance cardio and cycling several days a week bt barely losing a pound a week. On this trip, i only did the walking/stairs/swimming for like 4 days and already lost 7 pounds. Plus i ate unhealthy the whole trip. So Thats crazy to me lol
+1 yWater weight and perhaps you emptied your bowels. For more permanent gains, the advice is still the same: expend more calories than you consume to lose weight. It’s not healthy to starve yourself, so the best solution is exercise with a healthy diet so you can still enjoy food.
01 Reply- +1 y
I didn't starve myself. I over ate on the trip
367 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. It sounds like you were very active those 7 days so that’s why you dropped those pounds , and sex definitely contributes to that as well , why couples should have sex as much as possible 😋
01 Reply- +1 y
I was active 4 days
+1 yYeah water weight is a lot of weight.. I notice after I run because I sweat like a mad man, but I look slightly slimmer.. It's probably because I lost a lot of the water weight.. Especially since I am pretty thirsty afterwards..
02 Reply- +1 y
It was cold everyday of the trip so i probably on sweater during the sex. I know the 60 seconds in the sauna didn't shed that weight 😂
- +1 y
Well y'all were going at it all the time, so that was probably a lot of sweat.. 😂😂..
Excercising doesn't always mean weight loss if you build muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. Also fooda that take more calories to digest than they have in them couples with a orgasmathon could do it. ( but i dont know your diet for the week)
01 ReplyI don't want to scare you but I lost a lot of weight without knowing why until I found out I had cancer definitely see a doctor just to be safe
01 Reply- +1 y
Yea i pray im good.
+1 yYeah sex is the best workout you can have to lose weight I heard but walking up stairs probably played a bigger part. If you had marathon sex and did most of the work you probably shed some pounds.
01 Reply- +1 y
I didn't do most of the work but i was in some crazy flexible positions 🤣
2.1K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. I would guess it was because you went from inactive to active so it sped up your metabolism. It is more drastic when you go from nothing back to being active. It's possible to lose 7lbs of water but that isn't healthy.
01 Reply- +1 y
But i dont get it. I was exercising for months and prob took 2 months to lose some pounds. Yet i eat more on this trip and somehow lose 7 in some days vs months?

+1 yIsn't each "xXx" session burning 300 odd calories? It might be that.
04 Reply- +1 y
But even if so, it seems odd to lose so many points in just over a week. So i wonder did i lose water weight rather than fat? Or maybe i gained muscle. Either way i lost something and my thighs feel kinda toned and heavy rn
- +1 y
Toned is good, and muscle does weigh more than cellulite. Watch the clothes sizes, not the scale
- +1 y
Although you may indeed have lost water weight, especially after sweaty xXx.
- +1 y
Yea im paying attention to both. Im already down in pants size
Everything you mentioned contributes to weight loss. Sex is a very physical exercise too, if you have a lot of sex.. you can lose a lot of weight.

+1 yThe combination of all of it lol sex burns weight.

Lol I had an ex that would go 7-10 times a day and we both got so trim in a month 😂
+1 yYou weren't consuming as many calories as you normally do because you were occupied.
02 Reply- +1 y
No i hardly eat at home and exercise way more. On the trip, i ate more and had way too much soda so if anything i had more calories
- +1 y
It's not about how often you eat it's about the amount of calories in the food. Someone could eat one meal a cheese burger and fries with soda that 1500 calories in one day. But since you say it's not that then maybe you lost water weight
+1 yJust do sex & stairs climbing...
