Yes. All the time. It helps me collect my thoughts more clearly; it allows me to step back and approach things from a top-down perspective. Journaling also helps chronicle important issues, self reflect, document my feelings or opinions all without argument or counterpoint. It encourages emotional intelligence. And lastly, since writing is a skill, frequent journaling substantially improves my written communication and grammar.

stopped around the 2000 to 3000 entries or so
I keep a dream journal. It’s more so for memories purposes and not to translate dreams since I don’t believe in that stuff.
Yes. I get random stories that come to me, or extra bits to add on to others jotted down before. Eventually they may turn into something to publish. It is a form of therapy. I enjoy it.
