It does if you’re Asian. It’s been proven that Asians have a lower tolerance for alcohol than other races. Europeans spent centuries adding alcohol to their water to clean it and sanitize it before water filters were created so their descendants have a higher tolerance for alcohol.

It depends on how much of it you drink, and what kind you drink. A lot of what goes into beer is grains - like bread - and so it's not unlike eating a bunch of bread. It's carbs. Light beer has reduced carbs and calories, but you'll still gain weight if you drink enough of it, and heavier beer has more carbs (stuff like Guinness has more calories).

The term "beer belly" exists for a reason.

The calories aren't that bad, its the chips and other snack you often eat in between sips, and as long as your body processes alcohol, it doesn't burn fat.

Ofcourse large beer have over 200 calories... Drink 5 and you just consumed arround half if your daily calories in empty nutritions. Once in a while its not Bad but if you drink regularly you will definetly gain weight, or would not have enough healthy nutritions.

Beer is all carbs. And alcohol turns to sugar in your body. And sugar turns to fat. So yeah, beer is fattening. It's where the term "beer belly" came from.

Yes but when you're under 18 you'd have to drink a ton of beer to gain weight. Usually it only happens when you're 30+
