I think I was 12 or 13 years. old when I got my first one. Then 14 & 15 I went through the years of cramps, aches, and pain until some point at 16 my mom gave me Midol pills. I was just like "What? They had medication for this stuff?"

In the past, the average was 14-16. Vegan girls get their period in their mid to late teens.

Yeah this is why questions about the menstrual cycle should only be answered by women 😭

1. You're saying vegans get their periods later. Which means non-vegan diets make them come earlier, right? But vegans weren't more common in the past, and a diet with meat isn't unhealthy? In fact, it's healthier since you have all the food groups.
2. The age of first menstruation hasn't changed - why do you think girls in ye olden days got married as young as 14?
3. There has been way more research into menstruation since the digital era. I'm positive that 8-10 year olds would have still gotten them. But since those recounts are less common, they got treated as anomalies.

Just try not to comment on a topic you don't have all the answers on. That's how misinformation spreads 🙃
