Me and my boyfriend go to separate gyms every evening and it’s hard to make time to see each other , help? suggestions?

He goes to a commercial gym in the area.. says he feels more comfortable there because he’s not huge into fitness as I am. I’m like a real deal competitive bodybuilder and I go to a small community bodybuilding specialty type gym - we work pretty much the entire day every day , we get off in the evenings and go to the gym but we never have much time to see each other. It’s starting to feel like an online relationship? Help, advice? I can’t convince him to switch to my gym.. wouldn’t it just make sense we go to the same gym as a couple?

Regarding the gym, why don't you just join his gym? or even both of you get dual memberships and alternate going to each others.

Honestly, I'd suspect that the guy probably likes a sepearate gym. Guys often like to have good number of activities not involving their partners to keep 'fresh' (because if you end up doing too much together you wind up with nothing to talk about, as you both know everything you did first hand).

You might keep your present gym's and organise another event relating to sports you both enjoy and attend together? aka Find a common middle ground. You will likely need to shuffle around other life stuff, and I get that's difficult. Though it will maybe resolve for you both. Good luck.
