How hard was it for you to lose weight?

It was difficult at school, in between all the bullying and eating for comfort.
It was really joining a karate class and taking up swimming which changed everything around for me..
My whole outlook on life changed. I got my revenge on the bullies, stopped comfort eating and have been using weights, taking martial arts (Karate, Systema, Krav Maga) and doing various sports (Rugby mostly) ever since. I even spent a couple of years teaching women's self defence classes.
Not hard for me at all. I'm a very thorough person when it comes to nutrition nowadays. I log the specifics of everything I consume. Once I know what markers to aim for & when the best times to hit them are, it all becomes very easy. Too easy.
I aspire to be like this one day, I’m still in the beginning of my health journey so I’m not the greatest when it comes to watching my nutrition though I’ve been trying to watch my sugar intake and eating more protein 😅
Yeah no worries. Nutrition like with any habit we want to become part of our lifestyle is best first approached in a fun & casual way. Then overtime we can become more strict & serious if we want to. The key is to just be consistent with slowly removing the bad & slowly increasing the good at a decent enough pace to see the results we wanna see.

It's harder for me to gain weight than lose it. I have to eat 4 meals a day to not lode weight.
Out of curiosity, how tall are you? Losing weight can be great, but it's also important not to lose too much:)
Actually that has never been a problem considering I never had to loose weight. I guess I've been lucky... ;0)
nope not hard. i use portion control.
Congrats on your weight loss!
