I accidentally put alcohol swab instead of cotton on blood from Nerve? Help?

I got IV drip on nerve for antibiotic when the IV got finished I removed the needle so the blood was coming out instead of putting cotton ball to stop the blood I accidentally put rubbing alcohol swab on the nerve. I'm really anxious right now. It itch slot after it.

When I got cuts at public facilities and asked for a bandaid, they would force me to rub alcohol on my wound before putting a bandage on it to lower their legal their responsibility if I get an infection from their health products. I hated the alcohol cause it hurt. My point is, it might be painful but it’s routine procedure and will not kill you.

Thankyou for sharing your opinion. I'm concern because after the iv finished I put alcohol swab directly on the nerve when the blood was coming out of it instead of wiping blood from the cotton ball I wiped it from alcohol swab.

I didn't remove it. The nurse removed it. My only fault was that I accidentally put swab. The nurse then put the cotton ball on it.

I went to a clinic. It was my fault to wipe the blood wth alcohol swab which was coming from the nerve after iv. Then the nurse there put cotton ball over it to stop the bleeding.
