Is this good for 8 week old kittens please help?

Just got my kittens yesterday but still don’t know what they like and also if I can get some advice on how to bathe them and cut their nails they stink 😭

It won’t kill them to eat it, but don’t give them the whole can, just half. Cover the remainder with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for later so you don’t waste any. There is a kitten formula from Fancy Feast in their wet food, if you can’t find it at your grocery store, go to your local pet supply store. There should be an image of the kitten on the box. It’s ideal for kittens to eat kitten food for the first year of their life, eating adult food can stunt their growth from the lack of protein they would get.

Wait wait 8 weeks oh my God it still needs milk probably do you remember when you were 8 weeks old what did you want leave the toenails alone until they're a year old or something don't even give them a bath yet you catch him a cold let them grow up a little bit my goodness

And keep the fingernail polish off the toes they don't need that either yet LOL no just let it be a kitten you can give it soft food and a little bit of hard food probably and milk
And don't put it in bed with you cuz you don't want to roll on it have a flat cat in the morning it doesn't have a meow anymore inside of it

- why do the kittens stink? where did you got them from and how many of them?

- that food will be good enough for now, and for them to get used to eat on their own, just make sure you're right there as they eat, so they don't do it too much nor too fast, eight weeks is still around the weaning period

you can also get food that's made for the kitten stages and that might be a bit more beneficial overall

If you can afford it, I suggest taking them to a groomer or vet to be bathed. This will keep them from getting cold afterward, their fur will look neater, and as a bonus, you won't get scratched.

I've never had a positive experience with bathing a cat at home. It's really not a good idea.

it would be ok, but you should get food that is meant for kittens, and save that for later.
Kitten food contains easier to digest nutrients specifically meant for them.
Save that for later.

FYI under the chin and where the tail connects are great places to scratch them.
Mine gets all glassy eyed when she gets chinnies.
They will get you trained in no time at all.

That brand offers a kitten variety, that would be a better option for your new fur baby

You do not have e to bathe them unless they get really dirty. Get or make a scratching post so they keep their nails a good length

Not terrible, but there is a kitten version that is formulated better for the younger ones.
