How ridiculous is it to go into a hospital, have some painful work done like a needle poke, stitches or stables removed... but no pain medication. If there is pain med, it's ludicrous expensive.

Just prescribe some whisky or glass or two of wine. PEOPLE... ITS A LIQUID NERVE TOXIN DRUG! Cheap and tastes good. I've heard reports its good for us in moderation, so there!

Alcohol isn't good for you in small amounts even. It also causes medical issues. It is a blood thinner.
