My mom's been struggling with constipation, thin stool with blood at times with muccus and not feeling empty after it... She doesn't want to go to the doctor in fear of discovering cancer.. Is it possible to be that?

I was watching a video recently about the signs of colon cancer and it said that the reason the stools come out skinny instead of a normal size is because there's a tumor in the colon somewhere and the bowel movement has to get past the tumor to come out. And in doing so, it makes the bowel movement skinny.
But whenever there is blood in the stools it is one sign of cancer. ♋
I realize she's afraid to find out if she has cancer but waiting isn't the answer. She has to see a doctor immediately.

Even if she refuses to go, call the ambulance or someone that would convince her. Your mother needs to get checked ASAP.

How can someone not go to the doctor out of fear? that makes no sense. If she has cancer and she doesn't get treatment she'll just give the cancer time to spread and she'll die. And even if it isn't cancer it could be something serious. Just because you ignore it doesn't mean it'll go away. You should really push her to go see a doctor this is not something to mess around with.

Anyone saying it's colon cancer doesn't realize the many different causes for those symptoms. I wouldn't say that it's colon cancer but I wouldn't also rule it out. I've had those symptoms before & for me it was just severe constipation due to a poor gut microbiome.

Early detection is the best prevention & if truth be told I rather doctors discover it early before it’s to late.

Colon cancer moves very fast, she doesn't have much time to get it treated if that's what it is.
