Is this colon cancer?

Hello so recently I've been having some complications with my bowels. However, it is worth noting that I have had chronic constipation for a few years. Most of my moms family battle with constipation, but I don't think that it plays an important role. Recently I Have been having symptoms of colon cancer. The only symptom I don't have is blood in poop. I recently switched into drinking more water and eating fiber, vegetables and fruits. However, its help, but not really. I notice for two mornings straight I hade skinny small poop. Now I take Epson salt as a laxative and it helps. I thought that it was colon cancer. It is also worth mentioning that I have discovered an internal herrmaroid a few weeks ago and the symptoms are almost the same, if not equivalent. I'm stressed out. Anybody experience this?

As someone who lost a Mother to colon cancer at 55, I can assure you at your age you DO NOT have colon cancer. Colon cancer is caused by polyps that grow in the intestines and those polyps usually take between 10 to 15 years to make into a tumor if that is going to happen. That means that if you are 18 that you would have had to have had a polyp at 3 years of age. We know that this ain't happening. While the age of colon and rectal cancers has dropped to below 45-50, I can assure you that you do not have colon cancer. My recommendation is to go see a gastroenterologist and get an opinion. You could just have old-fashioned IBS-C. They also will likely tell you that the change in your diet is causing you symptoms. I know it's really easy to Google your health concerns but if you do not have any advanced medical knowledge then you are just wasting your time with what ifs.

You should make a CT scan with contrast agent. Cancer in early stage is mostly curable or at least stoppable with chemotherapy.

Bowel problems are extremely common as your age. Go see a gastroenterologist. Most likely everything is just related to constipation. But they can take care of the hemorrhoids.
