How can I help my neighbor who has a colon cancer?

She has colon cancer and bedridden. The tumor popped inside the stomach and she's very weak. she's so sweet to me and always greet anyone. she's very friendly person and not rude to anyone. always smiles and generous to people. Im just sad because when we visited her she's so thin and bedridden like she doesn't deserve it. The doctor said its too late for her to do surgery I think the disease is grave now. Im also broke but I always think of her as an old woman who is nice to her friends. I grew up buying her food she sells food in front of her house. Im just sad because I don't know if I can still see her in that kind of situation healthy, happy. As a broke person how can I help her?

Goes to show kindness goes around. You can't keep people alive forever, but you can make a difference in their lives today. If not hers, than others.

She was 60. I guess I just remember her as an old neighbor who always cares. And I will miss her food merchant. she's very happy person always smile sometimes you never know if a person is struggling inside.

What? Nothing from Brad? Why is this woman not in hospice in her last days, so she can be cared for properly? 😟 Also, take a pastor to her for comfort and that can assure her that she can be going to Heaven when she dies. That alone can give comfort to anyone dying.

The doctor said her condition is very grave meaning its too late for a surgery because her tumors popped already in her colon if she will get a surgery she will die because she is too weak. Its so sad

I didn't say hospital, I said "hospice", which is where people who are dying go. At some point, it may not be possible to cure a serious illness, or a patient may choose not to undergo certain treatments. Hospice is designed for this situation. The patient beginning hospice care understands that his or her illness is not responding to medical attempts to cure it or to slow the disease's progress.

Hospice provides comprehensive comfort care as well as support for the family, but, in hospice, attempts to cure the person's illness are stopped. Hospice is provided for a person with a terminal illness whose doctor believes he or she has six months or less to live if the illness runs its natural course.

You can help her around the house, ask her what chores need to get done that she could use help with. A lot of people will create volunteer efforts for those with cancer, and maybe bring by something nice to drink as I’m sure she won’t have much of an appetite but you can at least help her stay a bit more hydrated

be there for her. visit. help keep her comfortable. talk with her and remember she's a human being rather than "dying patient".

Maybe the lord has decided this world does not deserve such a kind soul and has invited her back

His Word says that 'By His stripes we are all healed' and He never changes either! The Doctors ignore it as do most. His Word says that all sickness and infirmities were taken by Jesus on the cross over 2000 years ago. But receiving that healing takes learning and effort because our flesh is not saved, only our Spirit is when we believe. Thus we need to learn how to pull healing from the born again spirit into the flesh.

Intercessory prayer and the laying of hands are the best things a person can do for that lady. But the Doctors are busy just waiting for her to die.

is she in the hospital full-time visit her all the time and pray with her. Are you allowed to take her to stroll around the hospital into the cafeteria
