Guys, I am so undecided. What should I do for my mother?

My mother is 55 years old. She has lost 6 teeth so far. We were undecided about whether to get a crown or an implant. We went to a dental clinic. First, a female doctor took an x-ray of my mother and said that my mother had a weak jawbone and that implants were not suitable. Then they told us to go to the chief physician there. The chief physician said that you can get an implant for my mother. We were really confused about who we should trust. What should I do for my mother? Implants are very expensive. I wonder if the chief physician deceived us because of that?

Yes they are expensive but if you are able to go to another clinic and get a second opinion that would help. Implants are permanent which is a positive. Dentures are cheaper and having worked with a lot of seniors, they say it’s uncomfortable and requires a lot of cleaning. If you have the financial resources and if your mother has the stability to support them then implants are a way to go. But if your confused with the doctors lack of communication then try a second clinic and see if its worth the effort
