What's the best way to calculate body fat percentage?

I go by the mirror test. I have procedures to ensure that I'll get rid of excess water weight enough to where I can see my bodyfat percentage relatively accurately. I can know by this method because I've been leaner in the past so I have a good idea of what certain definition on me falls within what bodyfat ranges for me.

How do you go about getting rid of excess water weight?

I consistently eat very healthy for at least 3-4days straight. No extremely processed foods & little to no sugar. I feed my good gut bacteria & microbes with fiber & other probiotics while keeping my sodium intake below 2,300mg per day & above 1,000mg. Potassium intake kept around 3400-4700mg. And I make sure to drink at least.65 times my body weight for oz of water in a day. For me it would be around 100oz everyday at the least since I weigh around 155-160lbs on average.

Water tank method. Fat people float more. Your basically a walking hydrometer.

It's normally done in a lab but I'm sure if you looked it up it's possible to do it in a swimming pool. Google "hydrostatic weighing"

Use body composition scales available in the market. For very accurate measurements go for Dexa scan. Dexa scan is expensive.
