Trending & News Losing fat is solely about caloric deficiency and not about any sports. Sports or any physical activity merely helps you achieve the caloric deficiency. Just get enough protein in your diet to prevent muscle loss.
Yes, it is true, but getting tight and losing weight is another matter and I want to have a tight and slim body.
Jogging and spinning. Soccer, squash. Any kind of cardio that gets the blood pumping. I had good results with lifting weights once a week just basically weighted squats, lunges, deadlifts and some weight machines.
While not the most convenient exercise, swimming is excellent because it works the whole body and includes heavy cardio.
What do you think about spinning or zumba?
Good diet combined with walking, running and swimming are usually the best options for losing body fat.

Does it help me shape and tighten my body?

Cycling or swimming. Low impact sports so good on you joints if carrying extra weight.
What do you think about spinning or zumba?
Up to you, if you are new to exercise, sometimes a groups class is too much and can put you off. Spinning is cycling so it's ideal. When I went to the gym after a break I did a 20 seconds on 20 seconds off plan aka hiit. it worked to build stamina and could do it as much or little as felt right. That can't be done in a Zumba class. I did the same on other machines such as rowing, again low impact and control the resistance. As you become stronger you can change the timing to 30 seconds exercise to 20 seconds break.
I agree with you but I really hate pilates or fitness.
Same here, I would rather not eat that exercise. I'm an retired athlete so have had more than my share of gyms. How about walking or body weight exercise. Look up zukalight on YouTube. It doesn't require a gym membership, it's intended to be done at home, no equipment.
So you think spinning and Zumba won't work?
Zumba no, spinning yes. Cross trainer, rower even walking on an incline on a treadmill is great. Put it at 12°and go for it.
I am grateful for your advice. So how long does it take to get results? Is 1 month enough?
It's a mix of a few things, your base point is how active you are currently. The diet side, no point in exercising if you and eating it later. Recovery is important, make sure you stretch before and after, even if you don't think you did much. Have hot showers and stretch in them. This may sound insignificant but it means you are ready to go sooner. Make small changes in life as well, take the stairs or get out the lift a floor earlier and walk. Combining everything, you should see results in a month. Also stand with straight posture as it engages your core (think belly button pushed back into spine) it's not breathing in but using your muscles and finally my favourite, plank exercises. Front and side planks. Fyi I'm not a medical professional so always seek trained advice, these are the things I did and I was an international athlete.
I have been paying attention to my nutrition for years, I stay away from sugary and packaged foods, I consume mainly vegetables and protein, I consume balanced carbohydrates, I actually don't have a problem with my weight, my main goal is to burn fat, become thinner and tighter. Thank you again.
Swimming is best
I am very bad at swimming
So learn it ,, there is no better exercise than swimming
Walking and diet.
I lost 20 kilos thanks to walking, but I need to find a more effective exercise method because my main goal is not to lose weight anymore but to get toned.
Then consider weight lifting and congrats on your efforts.
