Anyone had H Pylori bacteria before?

Yesterday I was diagnosed with H Pylori in my stomach. Doctor prescribed me combined antibiotics for 12 days and warned me on the side effects. After reading other people's experiences I'm really scared of starting the treatment. Anyone done the treatment and actually felt better during and after the treatment?
Also what are the chances of my Husband having it too as it can be passed through saliva?

Avoid taking any NSAIDS in daily life could lead to erosion and not good for GIT.
Not sure which class of Antibiotics you have been prescribed to. But by the way you described looks to me the triple one. Usually 3-5 days should suffice if it’s an acute condition.
Do take peptobismol and anti histamine along with if not already.
(Caffeine nicotine alcohol, fried stuff or whatever your poison is just lay off)

I don't know much about it, except I know it can lead to peptic ulcers.

Yes, if left untreated can cause serious issues. I have no idea for how long I've been having H pylori tbh.
