Why do we pee when pooping but not poop when peeing?

Ever noticed it, you cannot NOT pee when you are pooping. It just flows out.

Why then is our body favouring urination so much that it makes us pee even when we poop, despite the other 10 times or so when we just go to pee?

I think you only experience this because you’re a man and your default when pissing is to stand rather than sit. If you just constantly sit, you will experience both.

Good point. But I have peed even though sometimes I have gone in just because of the urge to poop and didn't really poop. So there was no pushing, I just sat a bit, peed and came out without pooping

If you had the urge to poop, but didn't, you're constipated, which still pushes on the bladder.
Also waste is usually either a solid that contains or partially becomes liquid, or just a liquid, so eating and drinking both result in peeing, but only eating results in pooping.
