Back neck pain during lifting? Should I visit a doctor?

Sometimes i go to the gym and a few sets and i get angry and just leave because i can't lift on back/shoulder exercises..
For example, lateral raises make this place sting as like someone is drilling in it.
Back exercises like a machine row or anything that makes my head move or shrug shoulder exercises or whatever.

Even if i lift something outside of the gym i just feel the harsh sting.. people tell me to ignore it because it will make gains but i tell them the sensations are serious, it really feels like my spine is gonna break..

Should i visit a doctor or its something due to posture
