Any tips for strep recovery?

Going to the dr today strep hasn’t gone away after antibiotics and I think I’m getting some sort of lung infection.

Throat infections can turn deadly in some people. Any infection that starts in the throat can go to the brain or the respiratory system.
There's a horrible medical condition that doctors don't catch!! It's called Lemierre's Syndrome. It can go to the brain.🧠
I get nervous when I hear that someone has a throat infections.
Because I am older, they didn't call the infection of the tonsils Strep throat. They called it Tonsillitis!! Strep throat is a different medical condition.
Just like they stopped calling vomiting what it is, vomiting they call it nausea. No! It's not nausea it's vomiting!! 🤮 Nausea is what you get before you actually vomit.
With so many viruses going around I really hope you find a doctor that gives you a correct diagnosis, and he should hospitalize you and give you IV antibiotics for at least 5-7 days.
Don't let anyone in the medical field brush you off! You have to advocate for yourself and family members should be there to advocate for you as well.
Take a throat infection seriously please 🙏🏼

Ended up going to the er because my lungs were hurting it was hard to talk without getting dizzy and coughing. I have bronchitis and strep, my dr had said it was an ear infection and a sinus infection. When I woke up it hurt so much to sit up and breath

Here's a nice bowl of chicken soup 🍲 for you and some ice cream 🍨 🍦 to make your throat feel better. 🙂

I am surprised that they didn't keep you overnight on IV antibiotics.🤔 Just keep an 👁️ 👁️ eye on each illness and if you aren't getting better but getting worse, it's time to go back to the ER. 🤧

I am not sure I would be talking to you, I do not want to catch it…. lol

see your dr. and for me I usually eat a lot of spicy food that helps with sinus issues. Spicy food might irritate your throat though.

Hope you're ok. I've never had it so can't help with advice. I'd imagine since it's a bacteria causing this then some time in a steam room with medication may work.

Rest and antibiotics lots of hot tea with lemon to loosen up that flem
