Since the hot summer 🌞 months are already upon some of us, do you get sick 🤢 from the high temperatures?

I get very sick 🤢 when I am too hot. The past several years when I have asked people if the heat makes them sick they say "Yes".
Do you believe that the humidity 🥵 plays a role in causing us to become sick from the heat?

Unfortunately in the U. K, we experience in the summer months:

1, lots of serious storms,

2, severe downpours of rain, eg, yesterday it absolutely poured down all.

3, our summers are colder than what they use to be.

The summer of 1976 was very much so a different kettle of fish.

1, lawns split open in every single garden or park throughout the United Kingdom, for the whole of the summer we had in fact a house pipe ban was implemented, and if you were caught using the hose pipe you were fined!

2, heat exhaustion was the norm and hospitalisation was the norm also.

Not so these days in the U. K, and I totally agree with many others that climate change is the root cause of these changes.

Sick in the context of heat exhaustion if I don’t drink enough water and keep replacing trace minerals and vitamins back into my system, yes. Nausea isn’t fun. Working outside in dry breezy warm to hot days is when this happens most with me. If it was humid, that would be hell!

No , I love the warm and hot weather ,
My body craves it , why o should have never moved to Pittsburgh and should have just stay in south jersey by the oceans. I use to Get so much sun light there compared to here , moving here actually messed up my Vitamin D levels , so my doctor prescribed me a high dose of Vitamin D until my levels were back to normal. I ended up feeling week and tired all the time when I was low on Vitamin D until, so everyday I take vitamin D just to keep me going. Craziest thing

Humidity definitely plays a role. The more humid the atmosphere, the more the heat tends to 'stick' to your clothes.

But I find the main differentiating factor is the lowest temperature at night. In the spring, we may get temperatures between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius (77 to 86 Fahrenheit), but nights are relatively cool at 18 C (64 F). In the summer, we may get 40 C (104 F) during the day and warm nights of 30 C (86 F). The lack of a cooler minimum temp at night tends to wear me out.

We welcome the first rainy days, which typically occur in mid October. Not a drop of rain since April all the way through Sep-Oct in southern Spain.

Yes, it has happened in the past after staying out for too long and not drinking enough water. If you get sick like experience nausea, dizziness, weakness because of heat especially after spending a time a lot outdoor. Just have some electrolyte powder with water and finish it in few hours. Don't eat spicy food and if you do, have some curd or yogurt or buttermilk to cool down your body temperature.

Sometimes people don’t understand what they’re feeling between the two combined and wouldn’t identify it as sickness from the sun breakfast cereal provides “vitamin D “as well does sunlight you might be receiving large doses try paying attention to your vitamin intake in foods and beverages!!!

Hasn't been too hot yet in Ontario. Most I've seen so far, the highest has only been 26. Pretty nice weather. I'm usually out kicking a ball against the wall in the shade these days
