The test itself is not expired. It was in its wrapper but it has been in my trunk for over a year. And we have had several days here lately that have been HOT. We also had a few really cold days over the weekend. Just today when I got the test out, my trunk was pretty warm and the test wrapper felt a little warm too.
So could the "no" have been a false negative? I may not have done the test right either. I peed on it for a couple seconds. It may have been the kind you are supposed to dip instead and hold in the urine for a certain amount of time. I can't remember because I didn't have the instructions still.
Reasons I think I could be pregnant - haven't gotten my period yet and I'm on day 34. Usually I have my period by day 32 or 33. It's not super common for me to have a period start on day 35 or after. That usually only happened when I was younger/a teenager.
I have some random acne (not usual for me even around my period other than maybe a small spot but I currently have like 3).
A little nauseous at times (could be heat too at times).
So should I get a new test and redo it? It could be a little early too. Not sure when I would have gotten pregnant exactly. My last period finally started on May 20 (it was later than usual - it came on Day 35 which was weird). The blood was thicker/more gooey which is odd too. It was over by Day 4. But then on Day 6 I had weird pinkish stringy spotting which is weird and not usually anything I see during my period. Usually any spotting I have after the bleeding quits is like brownish and goes away after about a day.
Tips/info would be helpful!
I have been pregnant before - I have one child. I don't use birth control either and don't use condoms. I just use the pull out method (I'm aware that's not exactly reliable but another pregnancy wouldn't really bother us so we don't "care" if I would happen, we just aren't specifically trying to get pregnant).

Possible.
there’s a positive control line on the test. if the test is damaged, the positive control won’t show up. if it is a true negative, the positive control shows up but no line for the test
and if you take the test too early, you’ll get a valid test with the proper positive control line, but it’ll show up negative because you took the test too soon
you’re welcome
