Odds of already being pregnant with baby #2?

I had a baby 3 months ago. We have not really been using birth control, just pulling out. I know the pull out method is not exactly recommended because it's pretty unreliable. It's all up to your partner to time things exactly right every time and they have to make sure they don't get any "stuff" near your crotch. And if they go right back in, there could still be some "swimmers" that make their way inside you. Same with if they go in with prec*m or start to have prec*m inside you - there can be sperm in that too.

So I get that using just the pull out method is not ideal or very smart. I also know you can get pregnant postpartum even if you haven't had your period return because ovulation can start before your period comes back sometimes.

I had my period in early December. It was my first postpartum period and pretty routine. I've been having sex without issue since 4 weeks postpartum. There have been a couple times where I'm pretty sure some c*m got into my vagina and my partner usually only pulls out just to avoid fully c*mming inside me and still c*ms on my external genital area. He will usually wipe off his penis before going back in though. I know that doesn't exactly "help" though.

What would be the odds of me being pregnant again already? My period never really was super regular before I got pregnant. It was never a clockwork 28-day cycle. Last night I felt a little nauseous like I could throw up and I had the same feeling again this morning. I never actually threw up but it felt all gross and queasy. Feeling like I could throw up was one of the first signs I was pregnant before as was really sore boobs and stuff. My boobs aren't hurting right now. I also have had a lot more discharge (nothing that smells or looks weird, just more white or clear discharge that is sometimes stretchy). I should get my period sometime earlier on in January if it comes (I usually don't skip periods though).

Well, so far, my period has not came and I am on day 30 of my cycle. Usually my period would come between 30-35. Usually between 32-34. It was a little irregular though. But I have no indication of it coming. I know December was my first period since having my baby but I don't know. I may be pregnant.

Just get a pregnancy test. As for the likelihood, pretty likely based on what you shared. It sound like you already understand that pulling out isn't actually birth control, so I don't think that needs to be explained further.

Also, I know you said your period was never regular before, but once you have been pregnant, all bets are off. Your hormones and your body are still trying to balance out, and whatever your body did before pregnancy isn't going to help you much with how it's going to behave after pregnancy. I know that isn't what you wanted to hear, but it's reality.

Again, get a test, and if it's negative, I'd get on birth control/get an implant right away. Until I could do so, I'd tell my man that he's either wearing condoms or abstaining.

I got pregnant easily the first time. Once we started trying, it took maybe a month and I was pregnant. I had my period, then skipped the next cycle (we started trying right when my period had ended) and sure enough, I was pregnant! It was quicker than we expected and we were really happy. The birth was really easy and not complicated as well and we have a healthy baby.

I am thinking I could actually be pregnant again unless my body is being a little wonky from having a baby. I had my first period in December and I am now on Day 30 of my cycle by that standard and I have not gotten my period again and have no indication it will come soon.

I have been tired, having more wetness/discharge (no "spotting" though). So I will take a test here soon if I don't get my period.

The only way to know for sure is to take a test as soon as you can. We could give you our opinions but they won’t make you any more or less pregnant. I’d want to find out for sure if I were you.

I definitely plan on testing, especially if my period doesn't come within the first 2 weeks of January. That's when it should. Like I said, never really had a "clockwork period", but I definitely had somewhat of a pattern that was normal for ME. Usually I would get my period every 30-35 days. Usually around the 32-34 range. So, that means this one should come around the second week of January. If it doesn't, I will definitely test.

I was just asking if it would be very likely it could really be pregnancy given what I shared. We got pregnant pretty quick and easy with our first baby (and yes, it was planned and we were so excited and happy). We had decided to start trying officially and within a month, we were pregnant. The pregnancy was normal and I didn't have any complications aside from terrible morning sickness at first. The baby was full term and healthy. No NICU stay or anything like that and no birth defects or issues. Healthy weight, healthy length. Just healthy. I had no issues with the birth/delivery either and it went a lot smoother than I expected.

This probably isn’t the best advice, but honestly try not to worry about this until you can take a test. Any “yes” you get here will either make you paranoid and stressed.

Also, if you don’t want another baby yet and you aren’t expecting, please consider protection of some kind going forward. I used to tell this to my best friend all the time when she was doing that method but she’d always have an excuse; like condoms don’t feel good for him, allergic to latex, can’t do birth control, etc. This was about a year and some change after her first baby. Lo and behold, she got pregnant again, and her postpartum was horrible.

I don't really take advice on here overly serious because I understand the only way to know for sure in this case is to test and/or see a doctor.

I don't know it depends how easily you get pregnant..
But why not just get an implant so you don't have to worry about being pregnant right away?

Like 20% if he came in you and you timed things perfectly, so in your case less than that. Impossible to say a specific chance though but yeah, less than 20%.
