If you want one and can afford it, go for it. That age difference could actually be really sweet for the siblings. I have a big age difference with my little brother, and I was super protective of him from day one. We’re really close.
As for the IUD, you probably won’t be able to get pregnant with it, that’s kind of the point of birth control. And even if you did, it would likely be an ectopic pregnancy, which would need to be aborted because it’s unsafe for your wife and would never make it to term anyway. Even the embryo was implanted in a normal place, the iud presents a danger to the developing fetus, and increases the chance of premature birth if it’s left in, and it can’t always be removed when someone is already pregnant. So if you’re going to try for another baby, get the iud removed first.

You can get the IUD out at any time. If you want to have another kid do it. The age of your first kid doesn't matter
First, see your doctor about going off birth control. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. But your ages do not preclude having another child. If you try now and have #2 a year from now there will be an 11 year age gap so they won't necessary grow up best buds but you will have a built in baby sitter in 2 or 3 years and there's a lot of advantages to having a much older big brother. But I would not wait too many more years to do this.

That sounds like a question you need to ask a professional doctor. Tell her to make a gyno appointment.
