All of my life, I’ve been a bigger girl. I was a thick child, a chubby/fat teenager and I’m a chubby curvy woman. I lost weight before but I gained the weight back. Some of my relatives didn’t like that I was losing weight and told me I don’t need to lose anything and women need weight on them. I get reminded that I’m a tall girl and I need to weigh more than shorter woman. I went from 238 to 179. I’m 6’0”. One of my cousins said she never thought I was fat in the first place so why bother losing weight. She said I’m “6’3” so I need to have weight in me. I corrected her that I’m 6’0” but she didn’t answer back (moms side of the family is short) Plus a lot of men prefer women my size over a skinny/thin girl. I thought that’s what guys wanted.
I am currently 229lbs. I have huge knees, thighs, I hate my big calf’s. I’m just so big. My friend who is 5’6” and naturally thin said she has been trying to put on weight for YEARS. And not every thin women likes being thin. It’s hell. She said, “Girl I’ll never look like you! I KILL for those curves! Plus I wish I had big calf. Plus you’re very tall and curvy. Girl so many women wish they look like you. Why do you think most women are jealous of YOU?”
I didn’t think women and girls would be jealous of me. I’m jealous of smaller, slimmer women. It actually shocked me when thin or slim girls HATE their slim legs and body and wishes they were thicker. My girl pal from high school gained so much weight and she said she feels happier and more confident than she did when she was skinny. She HATED her skinny body, legs, flat belly everything. She has been trying to put on weight for years too and she’s happier thicker. She said she went from 90lbs to 125. She’s 4’10”. Former thin or slim are getting THICK. Nothing wrong with that. My friends said don’t lose any weight because I look really good and women wish they had my thick curvy body. Plus I’m very tall.
6’0” and 229lbs isn’t healthy
