So up until like 9 years old I was super skinny. Like extremely skinny. I quite literally looked like I was starving to death even though I wasn't.
At 10 years old and onwards though things changed. And not really for the better.
At 10 years old I gained 100 pounds in less than a year. Whereas I literally looked like I was starving before, now I was literally perfectly round like an orange. I literally looked like a completely different kid from age 9 to age 10.
And from that point forward I only kept gaining more and more weight. These days I'm 22 years old and about 382 pounds at 5'9.
That may sound like a lot, and it is, but at my very heaviest I was something like 560 pounds. So since then I've actually lost like almost 200 pounds. The weight loss was extremely slow and gradual though. Like over several years, and only a few pounds at a time.
The doctors weren't able to find exactly why I gained so much weight at age 10 onwards. One of the reasons was my metabolism suddenly slowed down to a dangerously low level. Also thyroid issues. I don't quite remember everything they said.
They told me that I basically was always gonna be obese due to how my body works, but the best I can do is just simply manage it the very best I can. Exercising like crazy, eating exclusively healthy foods, keeping stress levels low, etc. And that's basically what I've been doing.
The doctors say I could very easily go back to 560 pounds, or even heavier if I started to ruin my routine of exercise, healthy eating, and keeping low stress. Which would ultimately eventually result in my death. And I don't want that. So I keep working the hardest I can.
The goal is to at the bare minimum get down to 350 pounds. But the doctors tell me I'm unable to get any skinnier than that.

Somewhat.
I was really skinny until my 20s. I believe binge-drinking for several years slowed my metabolism down a tad and I, for lack of a better word, became somewhat saggy. I'm a tad overweight now, but it doesn't really get any worse, so it doesn't worry me.
At least it sounds like you've gotten better since. At least for you it was in your 20s. For me it happened as early as literally 10 years old, lmfao. But yeah. Binge-drinking definitely does that to you.
Nah I'm the complete opposite. I used to be fatter than most my age & now I'm leaner than most my age.
No, I was the total opposite.
Lol. Funny how people's experiences can be so different!
