Or, take some L-tryptophan, which is sleep-inducing. Turkey meat, by the way, has a lot of tryptophan. Or, an old standby, we used to have a jar of codeine-containing cough syrup. This really works. But it requires a prescription. Next time you get a cold, maybe you can get your doctor to prescribe it for the coughing. Then, don't use all of it if possible, and keep it around for when you can't sleep!

3 moDrink... I drink high alcohol beer. Doing that now. Just took a stack of L-glycine and L-tryptophan... about to take my L-theanine and then just slam beers and watch wartime stories or bedtime stories until I feel like sleeping. 3 moWhen I have difficulty sleeping, I usually get up and eat something sugary, typically a small bowl of cereal with milk. That usually makes me sleepy. If that doesn't do it, I watch stupid YouTube videos... gotta be the dumb ones... that usually puts me to sleep out of boredom.

When you can't sleep you could make good use of your time by cleaning or getting chores out of the way while trying to tire yourself out so you can sleep. But genenerally I just put those off (procrastinate) to just masterbate. Hence the term "procrastibate".😆

00 ReplyI usually don't fall asleep until around 6 a. m. and then sleep until about 11. Even if I go to bed at night and try to sleep, I just don't feel sleepy. My headphones are on 24/7. To be able to sleep, I need a cool place, plus a shower, drying and braiding my hair, then a nice herbal tea, a good movie, clean clothes, pleasant scents, and some candles. Only then do I feel ready to sleep.
