Each of us has different eyesight. Some of us are near-sighted, some far-sighted and some have near-perfect 20-20 vision.

I started wearing glasses when I was 7 years old. I tried contacts in my 20s but my eyes didn't like them so I reverted to glasses. A few years ago, I got progressive trifocals, which I now where almost all the time. Some days, I go without glasses, just to give my eyes a change; most things are blurry, except for thigs up close, but I can survive okay without glasses... no driving though.

Luckily I don't need them just yet.

Did you know it was the nazis that killed off the monocle for pretty much the same reason Hitler killed off the toothbrush mustache. They used to be a symbol of wealth because they had to be individually fitted but once they got associated with nazis the market crashed.

My vision is perfectly fine, but I always wanted to wear glasses even as a little kid... I remember taking my Papa's glasses off and wearing them. Boy, it made me feel quite dizzy, but I really liked the way it made me feel and think I looked cute with glasses, lol

@DaemonExala I'm sure you do. My father wore these classy bifocals, but they were too big for my face... And I couldn't see much after wearing them, I used to probably walk like Babu Rao from Hera Pheri... I can understand why my parents found it funny, but hey! I felt confident 🤣

That's why I actually like being nearsighted. I like wearing glasses. Once you get used to them you don't get dizzy anymore, and I get compliments on them all the time.

I wear my glasses even when I'm swimming, showering, and sleeping, and always keep spare glasses in case one breaks. I can't stand to be without my glasses for a second. This is why I consider being nearsighted a blessing.

I wear specs, but only because contacts are a stupid price. I'm saving up for corrective lasix surgery

I wear reading glasses only. Still have good eyesight for my age.

I wore glasses for 20 years, but back in 2020, I was diagnosed with a condition called Keratoconus (when the corneas are cone shaped, not round). Therefore, I require hard contacts. As my eye doctor told me, glasses no longer work for me. I wish I had a choice, but unfortunately, I do not. The contacts are fine, but can be a pain the neck sometimes.

I'm nearsighted and have since I was a very little girl. I always wear glasses. I like how they look and feel on me.

My husband likes how I look in glasses too. In fact I get complimented on how I look in glasses all the time.
