I would have gone out and walked tomorrow but it's raining tomorrow.
So should I just give myself a break tomorrow and return to it on Thursday? Or push through it and workout tomorrow as well?
Wait until you're not sore. Don't try to do some crazy workout if you're out of shape, you're going to hurt yourself. You have to work your way up to that level fitness. It's like somebody who only walks a mile a day trying to run a mile the next day. It ain't going to happen. You can't do workouts that were planned or designed for people who are in much better shape.
That's true. Thanks.
If you worked out so hard you puked you already overdid it. Take the day off, drink lots if water a d the next day do an easy workout. See how you feel. Then increase no more than 10 percent.
Ok thanks

Based on my experience with years of exercising, if you're not at least giving any given muscle group at least 24 - 48 hours to recover, it's over-training. This is assuming that the muscle group was training with moderate to high intensity. Lower intensity maybe if someone's body really isn't used to moving. Then at that point, they should treat it how their body is. Because if it was true low intensity for their body, they wouldn't be sore.
And when I say 24-48 hours I'm talking about with a dialed in diet. If your diet is skittles, ice-cream & other inflammatory unhealthy foods, then push that to 3-5days rest.
Take a day off, especially if you overworked yourself til you puked , so just relax and stay hydrated
Ok thanks
Give yourself a break. 🫶 Having muscle injury is much worse. Do you do mostly cardio or strength training as well?
I do both.
No, you need to wait, to recover.
K thanks
You're welcome.
