Trending & News Currently ~11% body-fat right now & I notice that my appetite is lower than it was when I was at higher body-fat percentages. And it's not my metabolism either. At the beginning of this year, I was ~16% body-fat & my maintenance calories were only ~30-60cals higher than it is now. I credit my lack of intense hunger to the way that I eat now. I prefer to do omad or twomad. This is because the longer the lower insulin & stable blood sugar windows are, the less likely that I'll fall prey to incorrect hunger hormone signaling. Can't say that I no longer feel the feeling of hunger. But it's very mild & easy to ignore if I'm eating enough calories everyday. Enough for me would be at least my bmr in calories.
I do have a low body fat percentage, because there is little fat on me.
But I've always been active, and and I'm very fit.
I'm never hungry because I have a large breakfast in the morning before going to work, or before I go out for a cycle ride with my cycling friends, and I eat regular meals.
I exercise year round. I consider myself fit. I do feel like I eat more than most girls my age, but I do it in a healthy way.
I snack a lot, but it is mostly fruit and nuts.
I noticed when I was thinner I was hungry more often
