Back extensions are one of the exercises that ARE holding me together! I never could do many pull-ups due to genetic geometry of my neck, and now, shoulder surgery to boot.
I don't work out any more. Push ups are the only one of those I do fairly regularly. They are the ones easiest for me.
Sit ups. I can do them but it hurts my back so I avoid them. For abs I do static isometrics that help my back instead of hurting it.
Squats. I haven't even tried it for years, but I suspect they wouldn't be a problem... partly because I go up and down a zillion stairs a day.
Pull-ups. I can't do any pull ups at all. But my goal is to work up to it. I don't have a good pull up bar, which would help. I want to get an over-the-door bar. I think if I lost a little weight and worked at it I could do them again.
Dips. I don't do dips and don't have any good place to do them. But I don't think I'd have any problems with it.
Back extensions. With my back I won't even try that. I also broke a tooth out doing that once. I went all the way down when doing them. I went down too fast and cracked my face on the vertical bar, knocking out a tooth with blood everywhere.
Triceps and core (abs) seem to be the easiest for me. To the point that I've maxed out my home gym equipment a long time ago.
So what is a chore / challenge.
@Xawyx-2 In my yoga class, leg raises (straight leg - with butt on the floor) are the most difficult exercise for me, but some of the women are the best at that.
Back extensions are next toughest for me, and doing them as pictured at the bottom, are the best for building strong back muscles are the BEST in my view.
Great question, by the way~
I have nervous system dysregulation issues so I find that I really have to limit the amount of squats & heavy core focused exercises if I don't want to start bloating from cortisol. There must be a higher nervous system demand for them. I'm find with other exercises though & don't have to limit them as much.
Push Ups. I have generally strong muscles with exception breast muscles. I can make 20 pushups but more is difficult, even though don't weight much.
Pull ups are hardest for me. Push ups/dips are second in line… my upper body strength needs work haha
Those exercises are not difficult for me, though it's all relative, depending on for how long I needed to do the exercises.
Planks. Lateral raises , pull ups.
Lower body exercises are easier for me.
I do them all...
Once yo've been doing them for some time, they're all just fine !!!
I've never really found any of those exercises particularly difficult as I used to pretty much live in the gym. And for the last 7 years I've worked a labor job in which I work pretty much every part of my body on a daily basis.
It’s weird I struggle with pull-ups because I’m a big man But not fat. But I can do the lar pull downs real successfully it’s weird
pull-ups would take the most effort... since I am 200 pounds
my legs are probably the strongest, so it's quite easy to raise them, lol
I’m naturally athletic. I can do almost anything i set my mind to do. Lately it’s the setting of my mind that i struggle with most.
Anything more difficult than a walking based workout I cannot do. I have a bone condition so I have to be careful with the workouts I do.
Sitting still is the hardest exercise for me...
I'm overall in good shape but my arms are the weakest. Doing just one pull-up is hard.
Dips. Used to do them with 100 lbs. around my waist. My shoulders are trashed now. Can't so them at all.
I find pullups & sit ups to be difficult. Squats are easy.
Pull ups kick my butt. I can only do 8 to 10.
Squats, because anything that involves bending my knees.
why only put gifs of girls lol
I suck at pull-ups...
Pullup primarily were when I was younger until got stronger.
Squats, especially with weights.
I have a bad shoulder and push ups hurt a lot.
Push ups. I really do not enjoy them.
