660,000 people die each year in America from this. I just saw true stories about this and man, it seems that this is very common. Even with elective surgery and routine surgery. Breast augmentation can kill a woman!
I do everything I can to stay out of the hospital - including the Emergency Room Department.
Be careful! They are trying to pass a law that all surgeries are video taped with audio during a patients surgery for the patient to have in their possession after their surgery.
These surgeons can cut you up like a fish and then you could die.
The video really opened up my eyes 🫩 but also scared me.

Many would die anyway without the operation, so going into hospital shouldn't be a cause of concern.

But it's worth remembering operations can go wrong, and a decision needs to be made before going into hospital, is the operation really necessary?

I've read/seen a couple of articles/videos of this, and...

a whole lot more people used to die after surgery NOT DURING surgery itself, but post-surgery because, even when a surgery was successfully performed by surgeons, that was just the first step... post-surgery care was deeply flawed as well and that's where most of the problems would arise, either infections or complications

there was story about how surgeons actually called a Formula One team to "see how they did perform their surgeries" and got advice from them on how to work much more better and safer as a team, involving all these procedures

WOW! This is bigger than I thought. So the insurance companies have the nerve to call a surgeon performing surgery at the time they call, get the surgeon out of the middle of the surgery to discuss insurance issues with the surgery. That's should be unheard of to do such a thing.
Well, what can we do as patients. We are at their mercy if we need medical intervention right?

Yeah, I've always heard to avoid hospitals if at all possible. There are surgical errors, plus people catch nasty bugs like antibiotic resistant staff, pneumonia, etc.
And hospitals deliberately murdered people during covid.

In america according to the quoted study its hearth diseases in first place, Cancer in second and accidents (which includes medical errors) in third. Strokes are forth. During covid it was third. Chronic Lower respiratory is in 5th place but between 3-5 the difference is not big at all.

It was a program to pass a new law about having all surgeries video and audio taped and given to the patient so they know what was done to them while they were sedated.
This one woman who was telling about the law, went in to get an ovarian cyst removed.
The surgeon knicked her aorta valve 3 times which caused excessive bleeding. But the surgeon let her keep bleeding until she removed the cyst. She had to have blood transfusions.
The surgeon also knicked her bowel which caused fecal matter in her abdomen and she got a serious infection (maybe sepsis) and had to have her arms and legs amputated.

Look, all I did was watch it. I didn't write it or wasn't on the program.
I was going to post it here but it had a commercial in it, so I couldn't. Plus no one would have watched it anyway.

No, he didn't make an error. The article writing about him did make the error. The number three death cause are unintentional injuries. That INCLUDES medical errors! In the original video you can see how he said something different than what the article is misquoting him with.
For the complete context: its a hearing about medical errors, thats the theme. As an introduction sentence what this hearing is about, Bernie Sanders quotes that its PART of the number three death causes in america according to the CDC. Neither the CDC nor bernie Sanders said that medical errors are the number three death cause!

I am not sure which statistic she is using but the one I found is saying cause of death is 1. Heart disease. 2. Cancer 3. Where general injuries (which was pushed to 4th Place during covid)

Ok I read the article you are probably refering to. Bernie Sanders original words on video and the study he is refering to.
You missunderstood something but are mostly right.
He wants to focus on the third leading cause of death, WHICH INCLUDES preventable medical errors.
The numbers are right. But medical errors alone are not the number three cause of leading deaths. They are included in the number three cause of deaths which are accidents in general. The article is quoting him wrong, as you can see in the video of the session.

Yeah... I wanted to post the documentary/program that I saw, which is why I posted this question. However, it had commercials in it, which aren't allowed here.
Bernie Sanders was on the program along with a patient that is trying to pass a law that all surgeries must be video and audio taped and given to the patient that had the surgery. This would be used as evidence about what the medical professional personnel did wrong that made the surgery they performed caused the patient to become disabled and suffering from mistakes.

The lady who was telling her story was sitting in a wheelchair with amputated arms and both legs as well.

I won't go into detail but she had surgery because she was to have an ovarian cyst removed. Period.

Unfortunately the surgeon knicked her aorta valve 3 times causing massive bleeding and sepsis. I believe the surgeon also cut her bowel and fecal matter went into her abdomen and caused a major infection.

Eventually she had to have both arms and legs amputated.

Let's face it. AI has helped students studying to become doctors and surgeons pass their classes by supplying the answers, just like kids are doing in schools now. They just ask AI for the answer to the question/problem and that is how they eventually earned their degrees.
When I Googled third cause of death in the United States and added Bernie Sanders to my search I found the evidence!!

All of the other causes are outdated, from 12+ years ago on some of them. No current dates of 2025 or 2026. So you would be hard pressed to find current, reliable causes of death listed in order.
