I was a small kid and when I was about 12 my parents investigated getting me growth hormone... Something new at the time and made from cow hormone.

Part of the treatment was measuring my height every month and as well as height they measured my testicles size. Can you believe!

If it’s done in a medical setting and done professionally, then it shouldn’t have been traumatising. I can see how it would’ve been traumatic if there were sexual undertones though. You may want to seek out therapy.

Growth hormone shots can definitely make you taller, but I think it depends on how much taller.
When my son's doctor suggested growth hormone shots to make him taller but by only 2 - 3 inches. The shots were for 6 months. So I said no.
This was in the 1980's.

Since then, I have seen boys who took growth hormone treatment and grew 8 to 10 inches.

But he should have never actually touched your private area!! Maybe just looked though because there are some medical conditions that can cause small testicles.

Well it wasn't once
It was about 3 times
Three were two male doctors
I'm not questioning their motivation
I'm just saying afterwards I wouldn't allow anyone touch me there for years
I also refused to be sexual. I didn't mind kissing, touching girls.

To answer your question I think they were monitoring the size is the testicles to see if they were growing
And comparing them to a set of beads they had for comparison
