Prolonged bleeding after DIM complex supplement use?

About 1.5 months ago, I started taking a DIM complex supplement. I only used it for 3 days and my period started immediately, so I stopped taking it. However, my period lasted much longer than usual. I initially thought this was due to the DIM supplement, but when the situation worsened, I went to the ER.

They performed blood tests and referred me to this hospital for further evaluation. The doctors at the ER mentioned that a biopsy (endometrial sampling) might be necessary. I haven't mentioned the DIM supplement to the ER staff yet, but I wanted to inform you. Given that this bleeding started right after using the supplement, is a biopsy still mandatory, or could this be a temporary hormonal disruption caused by the DIM?

i'd tell the docs everything, you have nothing to lose but more blood. on the other hand, my oldest sister is your age and her periods are all over the place. my mom said that it's pretty normal.

If your gut has issues with cruciferous veggies, it might have problems with DIMs, derived from the same. Check with your local doc who is familiar with your case and medical history.

Tell them, maybe the DIM information will answer all their questions. Maybe you don't need a biopsy.
