I had my daughter a few weeks ago, and for the most part I think my recovery has been going pretty well. I don't want to get to graphic, but if you know you know. Lots of aches, cramps, messes and hormones. OMG the hormones. I've been crying probably like 10 times a day. The emotional disregulation has been the worst part. Like sure the cramps and bleeding and.. well other stuff suck, but I can deal with that. What is hard is crying for like 10 minutes because I saw a bird all by them self standing on the power line. Then all the fears about being a new mom. I've probably game planned almost every scenario that she could possibly go through. It doesn't help that I've not left the house in like 4 weeks. I went to eat with my husband a couple days ago and I have a doc appt next week, but other then that I've been home. My friends say I should get out, but that's kinda hard when you are recovering from giving birth. Heck I was really nervous to go to the dinner, even though I knew we'd be their for a very short time and I've been feeling a lot better physically. I got really lucky and got no tearing, so most of my worst symptoms have been emotional. My husband has been amazing! he's so great with our daughter. and he got everything ready for me. He's kept the bathroom clean and stocked with everything I need. He makes sure I'm able to get some sleep well he has baby duty. He helped me get the best pillow to sit on. And just so many small things. lol now I'm crying again.
Anyway What was your biggest struggle with your postpartum recovery?
