Has anyone struggled with postpartum depression?

I was watching wwyd and it was mentioned that 1 in 7 women suffered from this within the first few weeks after giving birth so I made this question, have you ever suffered from postpartum depression? Or know someone that did?

Yes all 3 times. Struggling with it right now. For me it likes to kick it a lot later like 6months to a year after giving birth

Nah even tho I should have cause last time I got suicidal. Since then I've learned how to deal with those feelings on my own so hopefully won't be feeling that way again

With both my kids I sure did, postpartum anxiety too. Which wasn't good considering I have both of those without the postpartum aspect as it is Lmfao

I’ve been in therapy since I was 14😂 didn’t help them and definitely didn’t help with the postpartum

No I did competitive gymnastics for years and I loved it until the eating disorder I developed from it almost took me out. I do puzzles now 🙄

Lmao puzzles, I can't stand them, put all the pieces together just to take it apart again, you ever thought of getting back into gymnastics, not competitive but you can become a coach or something, just cause you can't compete doesn't mean you have to drop everything, I actually still think you can get back to competitions eventually as well, you must be more rusty than the screw holding up a diving board 😂

It was gymnastics on horses. I was coaching for a bit but my shoulder is so fucked from it I can’t do it anymore 😞
The trick to puzzles is gluing them when you’re done 😉

Well then I guess your gymnastics career ends with your fucked up shoulder but it doesn't mean you can't find other interests, you wents from gymnastics to puzzles, that's like me going from hunting to knitting, you are still young, you can get back to your puzzles when you are old 😂
