I was blessed with a lovely pregnancy. My only challenge was the caffeine detox and having to switch to soleless decaf coffee - man I was cranky about that. My husband, at the time, had me on a very strict diet so that I don't gain weight (other than the baby weight). So the hunger hormones was a challenge. Men won't understand this, no offense guys, but the increase of hormones make you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo freak hungry, even if you already ate. My allowed candy was fruit. By the end it was the rib pain when my baby pushed against my ribs. I was pregnant during covid, so breathing with a baby pressing against your diaphragm while wearing a mask was a challenge. Other than that - lovely. :) But not everyone's pregnancy is the same. :( How was yours?

*Disclaimer* Nothing I went through would ever compare to what she went through, nor would I suggest otherwise. I'm not complaining; just answering the question.
I remember when my ex got pregnant, and told me, the very first thing I did was quit smoking, immediately. I was a pack a day smoker, but I would be damned if I was going to let my bad habit hurt our child.
So, I quit cold turkey, right then and there. The withdrawal symptoms were the hardest part of her pregnancy, for me, just 'cause quitting smoking sucks, regardless, but at least I was motivated.
That, and pickles, lol. That woman craved pickles. I remember 3am trips to Walmart, because she needed goddamned PICKLES, right the hell now. I always made it a point to keep extra jars around, but she could go through those things like Cookie Monster at the Keebler factory.
For me, it was the 3 full term miscarriages I had to go through with the wife. I don't wish that shit on anybody.
I am so sorry to hear that. :( I can only imagine the emotional strain you two had. I hope that eventually a blessing came your way.. ?
It did, but sadly he passed away in a car accident. My wife is gone too.
