Is sesame oil (and tahini) actually good for heart and brain health?

I am thinking of buying tahini even though I have no intention of making hummus, because my mom used to say that sesame oil is good for your heart. I bought a 4.9 out of 5 health supplement online, and the box says you have to combine it with fat and oil or the nutrients from your health supplement will not be absorbed.
