Recipes that include natural sugar ingredients such as dates, honey, agave syrup instead of refined sugar are very popular now. But do you really think it is healthy to add lets say 20 dates to a recipe instead of sugar? Isn't eating only in a calorie deficit enough to lose weight?
Compared to refined sugar you get few vitamins, fibers and micro elements together with those alternative sweeteners, but you still consume sugar. Reducing massively sugar amount from your diet is healthy, but instead using other sweeteners is just slightly healthier.
Be aware some alternative sweeteners like corn syrup are poison for you metabolism in long run.

I never follow every step of a recipe tbh. I always mix it up and add my own thing
It will make very little difference. There are a heck of a lot better ways to improve a diet besides substituting one kind of sugar for another. The little bit of nutrients in that stuff is very minimal.
You should be concerned about the rest of your diet instead of what form the sugar comes in. And save some money in the process.
Depends what you mean by "healthy" as it's subjective.
A "healthier" recipe does not mean that it's good for you, or even healthy to begin with. It just means that it's an healthier option to what it's maker deems unhealthy.

I think its better to view them as healthier rather than healthy.
Take it from them 🤗☺️
The dates would have the advantage of containing fiber and vitamins, which are lacking in refined sugar. Obviously, calories matter, but food choices also matter. You could eat one big mac a day and have a calorie deficit. That doesn't mean the Big Mac is a health food.
Depends on what kind of recipe it is and the ingredients but you're right. Some are not healthy.
Everything that is highly processed or high in sugar, carbs or saturated fat is bad. No matter how natural it is or how hard they try to market it as good for you.
You already know the answer. Dates, honey and agave nectar all count as added sugars.
If you consider chocolate and cream and meat healthy
no they're just bland crap which is why i don't make "healthy" recipes. i use butter and lots of it
I've heard that natural sugars are ten times more better for you.
