Overweightness: Drug use: Promiscuity: Pporn: Cuckolding: Transgenderism: A book I've seen a Liberal magazine claiming that "is worth reading": I wouldn't trust their media even if I were searching just for a cake recipe.

I think the issue is the level to which they make such claims. I have no problem with anyone doing any of these things (some are for me and some arent) but to promote them in a positive light is silly, especially since most of it can be debunked pretty easily.
For example, the overweight thing (assuming its the same study) was carried out poorly and took rating from only healthy fat people.
Marijuana does have benefits but its not for everyone, it still has consequences, and is certainly not completely harm free.
I have no issue with people being promiscuous provided they use as many forms of contraception and protection as are necessary to reduce the risk of both pregnancy and disease transfer.
Promoting porn is risky, regardless of whatever tiny benefits it may offer.
As for cuckolding: anything "can be positive for some couples". Im sure beating the shit out of each other is "positive for some couples" or that a sexless marriage is "positive for some couples" but the very fact that they've worded it as such, means that its not positive for most couples and so why are they trying to find a positive spin for it?

At the end of the day, if you aren't harming anyone else then I don't care what you do... but trying to promote every single lifestyle choice is just silly.

I don't think there's any serious doubt about that.  Easy to see why some countries look at the West, and get the wrong idea, entirely. These rags have got a lot to answer for.
