We know that different uses of the brain- speech, movement, sight, deep thought, emotions, etc. DO fire certain areas more than others.
I suppose i worded the question incompletely. I think merely touching certain teeth together and keeping a gap between other teeth does something different to the brain. For certain, one of the things it does is prime the body for relevant postures. After asking this question i since started reading more about a bidirectional lane between oral and mental health.
Probably. I do know that kids who don't chew for a long time (their parents don't give them solids to eat early enough) have speech issues cos their jaw muscles aren't strong enough. It's all connected
Most of my siblings had that issue. My parents learned from that and made me chew hard since the start. But because i am the youngest and divorce was officially on the line before i was even made, by my arrival they decided that breasts are sinful and i was exclusively bottle fed. Which trains bad tongue posture. Plus i was mostly raised by a bunch of psychologically traumatized children so they did the same physical punishments to me as their father did to them. A lot of lip hitting for wrong speak, so it might have been what affected symmetry. My teeth are well formed but because bottle feeding doesn't widen the palate like breastfeeding does, i have been biting my tongue quite a bit. Mever had any orthodontics. But i also had out of body experiences and involuntary premonitions of what i would see minutes into the future, and just a sense of everything being automated, it could be because i overuse my left side (and the right brain hemisphere is linked to paranormal) since my maxilla has been facing leftward as far back as i remember using my first tooth brush.
This was not what I was expecting as a response. I'm sorry to hear about all that!
