How would you feel if her smile wasn't real?

I have a friend who is a wonderful person and would bend over backwards for her friends and family. She has 2 children with the same father who isn't there for the kids any more etc. not that it matters. She was with him for 5 years which was her first serious relationship.Now that is she out dating again she is very cautious about who she is with and she isn't a very confident person with her body or just looks in general. She isn't ugly but doesn't feel attractive. A few years back she had some major medical issues which caused her to loose her top teeth and now has dentures, which she is very self conscious about, she is 25yrs old and has had them since she was 17. She has a beautiful smile but it isn't real and she is afraid to be with someone and tell them. She feels that if she tells them they will judge her on that and not like her. Is it wrong for her to not tell her new boyfriends? How would you feel if you were dating someone and you didn't know they had dentures, would it gross you out or would you still love and accept them?

First off would not judge least thee be judged and looks is not all it is cracked up to be I look for personality my self and if a guy can't see past the flaws then the heck with him and move on to someone who can

We all have some flaw of some sort or another some visible some not and any smile is real whether it be dentures or your own teeth as long as you smile and are happy then its real

and yes even if my other half had false teeth missing an arm or leg or anything else

I don't think of any reason it would matter to me at all.

I don't think it's wrong for you not to tell them, but I mean, you could joke about it to bring it up. They'll find out sooner or later. If you clean them it can't be that gross, I mean, most of us needed retainers of some sort.

anything gross is to be accepted. You have to be able to fart in front of your significant other. I don't think a little thing like front dentures is something that will kill love.

It's not her fault that she had those medical issues... if her significant other cannot accept the "dentures", then he shouldn't be with her.

In my experience, most guys are willing to oversee things like that for the people they like.
