Refuse to let him sleep in your bed until he's seen a doctor, that might add a little motivation.
There could be something seriously wrong and he needs to find out.
Even if it's not serious, though, it's not fair on you.. Who wants to sleep in someone elses pee?
Point this out to him as well.
Then look up ways of getting children out of the habit and try these - you can get sheets where an alarm starts going off if they get wet, to wake you up so you go to the loo.
Or adult diapers to sleep in at night. Not attractive but it'd save the sheets, and if you bought him them it might make him do something about it.

If he's going to continue wetting YOUR bed, I would insist he sees a doctor or stop him from staying over til he stops being stubborn and seeks help for the problem. The fact that a man of his age continues to wet the bed, despite the changes you said he's tried, indicates that something might really be wrong. However, again, this can only be diagnosed by a doctor. Not going to lie, I don't think it's cool of him to refuse a doctor when his problem is stepping in on your life.
He really does need to to go the doctor to sort it out. It's nothing to be embarrassed about because it IS a common problem.

This is strange in a man that old but it happens if he woudn't go to a doctor maybe you should tell them his problem is your problem and see what they suggest. Also stop his intake of fluids after dinner and make diner early, make sure he go's before bed and after sex. Ask him if this goes on at his place, he might be a very heavy sleeper. Does he do this at the same time of night? maybe you should wake him in the middle of the night to go. Make him wear depends nothing like a cold wet spot
I used to have this problem when I was younger. As weird as this sounds here's what would happen.
I would think that my dream was real and in my dream would stop to go use the bathroom and pee in what I thought was a toilet.
It didn't stop until my early 20s and lifestyle changes that I made led to not sleeping so heavily at night.
