Can a man gain weight on a vegan or vegetarian diet?
to gain anything from eating a vegan or vegetarian diet?
It's possible, but very hard to do. The basic rules still apply - eat more than you burn off, and you'll gain weight.
But it's really hard to eat 3000 calories of vegan food. It's so disgusting.
Gaining fat is really easy.
Gaining muscle is possible, though more difficult.
it's easy if your vegetarian : cheese, milk, avocados, sugar, flour, pasta, rice, oats... all sorts of carbohydrates
if your vegan it may be little harder but still possible...
Gaining fat is easy, but gaining muscle may be a little bit harder. Protein shakes will probably be your best friend if you're trying to do this and gain muscle.
I imagine so. Make sure you're eating enough calories and that you're getting enough protein from sources other than meat.

Weight gain is simply taking in more calories than you expend. So it's technically possible, but I imagine really hard.
Yes, if you consume too many calories and don't use them, they get stored as fat.
With vegan diets its a little harder to overconsume because you are rarely eating empty calories.
Vegetarianism and veganism doesn't exclude sugars from their diets.
Almost impossible. Have you ever seen a buff vegan or vegetarian? I haven't.
